Responsibilities of the Real Estate Paralegal:
- Oversee real estate transactions from initial listing through to closing, ensuring all steps are completed smoothly.
- Draft and prepare essential legal documents, including purchase agreements, leases, and closing statements.
- Conduct thorough legal research to assist attorneys in negotiations and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Ensure that all transaction processes adhere to applicable real estate laws and regulations.
- Act as a liaison with clients, real estate agents, and other stakeholders to facilitate timely and efficient transactions.
- Organize and maintain case files for easy access, ensuring complete and accurate documentation.
- Review and organize closing documents, coordinating logistics to ensure seamless closings.
- Maintain clear and professional communication with clients, agents, lenders, and other involved parties.
Requirements of the Real Estate Paralegal:
- Associate’s degree in Paralegal Studies, Legal Studies, or a related field required
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a paralegal, with a focus on real estate law.
- Strong understanding of real estate laws, regulations, and transaction procedures.
- Skilled in legal research and document preparation, with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal research tools.
- Exceptional attention to detail, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to liaise professionally with clients and stakeholders.
Salary:
$60,000-$70,000 per year
